Portal Origin’s Employee Directory is a centralized, searchable people platform. It connects distributed teams with interactive coworker profiles, real-time organizational hierarchy charts, automated CSV sync, custom member types (e.g. Full-time, Contractor, Intern), and granular visibility controls.

The Org Chart automatically visualizes reporting relationships based on your team roster. You can pan, zoom, expand or collapse department branches, and click on any teammate to view their reporting tree, peer group, direct reports, and comprehensive profile details.

Admins can perform bulk roster synchronization by uploading standard CSV files or scheduling automated data ingestion. The system maps fields (Name, Email, Job Title, Department, Manager Email, Member Type) and automatically reconciles new hires, role transitions, and departures.

Yes! Admins can define custom Member Types (such as Full-Time Employee, Part-Time, Contractor, Intern, Consultant, Board Member) with custom badge colors and public visibility toggles to ensure compliance and role clarity across the company.

Employee profiles showcase contact details, job titles, department, desk location on the campus map, active projects, assigned assets, recognized awards, and direct manager/report relationships in a unified view.

When a member is removed from active status, their historical records, timesheet logs, asset assignments, and recognitions remain securely preserved. Admins have access to a dedicated View Deleted & Archived Members hub to audit history or restore members when needed.
