Portal Origin’s Campus Maps module bridges physical and hybrid workplaces. It combines an in-browser vector floorplan designer (zero CAD required), multi-site campus and building hierarchy governance, a dedicated desk assignment & moves manager, advanced desk hoteling & advance booking, and real-time space utilization analytics.

Admins can use our grid-based drawing canvas to sketch walls, rooms, conference spaces, doors, and place numbered desks directly in their web browser. Changes save instantly to SVG vector format without needing complex AutoCAD or Revit files.

Employees can browse interactive maps to reserve hotel desks in advance for specific dates or multi-day stretches. Administrators configure flexible hotel policies—including maximum advance booking windows (e.g. 14 days), consecutive day limits, maximum active desks per user, and automatic check-in auto-release timers to eliminate ghost bookings.

Space administrators use the Desk Assignment admin tool to assign workers, review move requests, and schedule departmental seat transitions. Employees use the interactive spatial viewer to search colleagues by name or department, watch the map zoom directly to their desk, or reserve available hotel desks and meeting rooms.

Yes! The hierarchy accommodates global organizations: Sites / Campuses (e.g. San Francisco HQ, London Office, Tokyo Tech Hub) > Buildings > Floors. You can configure individual floor layouts, dedicated assigned areas, and hoteling desk pools for every location.

Yes. Desks can be designated as dedicated permanent desks, reservable hotel desks, or static facilities. Real-time availability updates ensure hybrid workers can book hotel desks before arriving at the office and view upcoming reservations in My Bookings.

Only users with Workspace Admin privileges or dedicated `campus-map` process admin keys can access the Administration suite (Manage Floorplans, Hotel Configuration, Desk Assignments & Moves, and the Space Utilization Dashboard). All other employees receive the interactive viewer for wayfinding, locating colleagues, and managing their personal hotel desk reservations.
