Demystify Workplace Jargon with Context-Aware Acronyms

Different teams often use identical abbreviations for completely different meanings (e.g. ARR in Sales means Annual Recurring Revenue, whereas ARR in Engineering might mean Application Request Routing). Our directory lets you tag terms by department, allowing context-dependent duplicates to coexist clearly and accurately without confusion.

Standard employees can submit new internal acronyms, initialisms, and domain jargon as they encounter them. Submissions are queued for administrative review, ensuring your company directory is constantly up-to-date with your organization's natural language.

Administrators can configure two core governance flags: Allow Submissions (enabling or disabling employee submissions) and Require Approval (determining whether new terms go live immediately or require explicit admin approval before publishing).

Every submission, admin approval, rejection, definition edit, deletion, and configuration toggle is logged with the actor's identity, timestamp, action type, and before/after diffs in an immutable audit trail, accessible directly via the Admin Audit Log UI.
